A Generalization of Generalized Poisson-Lindley Distribution and its Applications

Abstract

In this paper we proposed a generalization of generalized Poisson-Lindley distribution which includes generalized Poisson-Lindley distribution, Poisson-Lindley distribution, Poisson- weighted Lindley distribution, negative binomial
distribution and geometric distribution as special cases. Statistical properties based on moments, maximum likelihood estimation and applications of the distribution have been discussed.
