The Cut-off Points for RMSEA and SRMR in Structural Equation Modeling Using ULS and RULS

Abstract

By means of simulation studies manipulating four factors (number of factors, number of categories, skewness and sample size), the objectives are: To analyze the type I error and the power of the fit indices, such as RMSEA and SRMR obtained using the ULS and RULS methods; and, the ROC curve to review the cut-off points of RMSEA and SRMR.
